Clinical Supervision

Clinical Supervision is recommended for professionals dealing with traumatic information and experiences. It differs from therapy as it takes a ‘mentoring’ relationship between supervisor and professional, through which support and coping mechanisms can be developed. The regularity can vary, however, many individuals favour a long-term monthly format.

Clinical Supervision can be provided in group or individual settings and through in-house meetings or video conferencing.

Lorinda brings over 11 years of dedicated experience in the out-of-home care sector, providing professional and compassionate support to foster and kinship care communities.

As a qualified and ACWA-registered Carer Assessor and Trainer the programs are flexible and tailored to suit the needs of carers and agencies — offered individually or in small groups, online or in-person.

Based in the Illawarra and Blue Mountains regions, Lorinda is committed to ensuring carers are supported, informed, and empowered throughout every stage of their journey.

Our sessions marry traditional HR techniques with our unique psychological perspective, aiming to focus on your needs as a current or future leader. These sessions are presented by our resident psychologist and clinical consultant Shanna White, and will help you develop key resources in order to cope with a range of situations.
